- Specified medical, dental and AYUSH degrees, or another equivalent qualification notified by the Food Authority, are accepted as detailed in the notification.
- Hindi or Sanskrit must be one of the subjects in Matric, or Hindi must be a subject in higher education.
- Required Food Authority training will be provided after appointment as stated in the notice.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Maximum age: 42 years.
- Age is calculated on 19 October 2026.
- Eligible Haryana SC and BC candidates receive 5 years' relaxation where the post is reserved for their category.
- Specified women receive 5 years' relaxation. PwBD, ex-servicemen and eligible Haryana contractual/service candidates receive relaxation under the detailed rules in the notification.
- Except ex-servicemen, the relaxed upper age generally cannot exceed 52 years.

- Haryana DESM candidates in the Unreserved category: Rs. 1,000.
- All remaining candidates: Rs. 1,000.
- Payment is online and is non-refundable.
Selection Process
- HPSC generally follows a Screening Test, Subject Knowledge Test and Interview process.
- Depending on application volume, HPSC may shortlist using educational marks, higher qualification, relevant experience and/or a Screening/Subject Knowledge Test as permitted in the notification.
- Final examination schedule and admit-card details will be issued separately.
