ISRO Scientist/Engineer SC Recruitment 2026 – 92 Posts

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space, Government of India has released the official notification for recruitment to the post of Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ through ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB). A total of 92 vacancies are available in Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, Civil, Electrical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Architecture disciplines. Candidates must possess a relevant BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84 CGPA on a 10-point scale. Candidates must also have a valid GATE 2025 or GATE 2026 score in the relevant discipline. The maximum age limit is 28 years as on 17 August 2026, with applicable relaxation for eligible reserved categories and Government employees according to Government of India rules. The online application process begins on 28 July 2026 and the last date to submit the application is 17 August 2026. The last date for payment of the application fee is 19 August 2026. Selected candidates will be appointed as Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in Level 10 of the Pay Matrix, with a minimum basic pay of ₹56,100 per month, along with applicable DA, HRA and Transport Allowance and other admissible benefits. Candidates are shortlisted for interview based on their GATE Score, and the final selection gives 50% weightage to GATE Score and 50% weightage to Interview marks.
