Recruitment Overview • District-wise first NCA notification, Categories 146/2026 to 150/2026. • Eligibility restriction: only the notified reservation communities in the stated districts may apply; differently abled candidates are not eligible. Vacancy Breakup • Wayanad: LC/AI 1 and SC 1. • Idukki: Muslim 1, SC 1, SIUC Nadar 1 and SCCC 1. • Total: 6 vacancies. Educational Qualification • Pass in Plus Two or an equivalent examination recognized by the Government of India or Kerala. • Male: generally 168 cm height and 81 cm chest with 5 cm expansion; SC/ST height concession to 160 cm. • Female: generally 157 cm height; SC/ST height concession to 150 cm. • Qualify in prescribed physical-efficiency events and complete 2 km endurance run: men within 13 minutes, women within 15 minutes. • Prescribed hearing, unaided eyesight and medical fitness are compulsory. Age Limit • SC and SCCC: 19–39; eligible birth dates 2 January 1987 to 1 January 2007. • Other notified reservation communities: 19–37; eligible birth dates 2 January 1989 to 1 January 2007. • Other conditions follow the notification and Kerala PSC General Conditions. Selection Process • District-wise recruitment with separate ranked lists. • Endurance test, physical measurement and physical efficiency test. • Written/OMR/online test if scheduled; examination confirmation required. • Medical and document verification; one-year forest training after appointment.
