Educational Qualification • Pass in Plus Two or equivalent; Diploma in Computer Application is preferential. • Minimum height 165 cm, weight 50 kg, chest 81 cm with 5 cm expansion. • Swimming: 50 metres within 2 minutes and float for 2 minutes. • Prescribed unaided eyesight and medical fitness; qualify in at least 5 of 8 physical-efficiency events. Age Limit • 18–33; eligible birth dates: 2 January 1993 to 1 January 2008, both inclusive. • Eligible SCCC adult converts and children: upper age 35 under the notice. Selection Process • Physical measurement, swimming practical test and physical efficiency test. • Written/OMR/online test if scheduled; examination confirmation required. • Document and medical verification. • Six months institutional training plus six months practical fire-station training, with prescribed tests.
